Inwealth BV. cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided through it by Inwealth BV. The effective date of these terms is 25/06/2023; publishing a new version invalidates all previous versions. This privacy policy describes which data about you we collect, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect your data against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

Web store software

Shopify

Our web store is developed with software from Shopify. Personal data that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obligated under the agreement we have with them to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve the service. Shopify complies with the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies, and your data may be processed in the United States.

Web hosting

strato

We purchase web hosting and email services from www.strato.nl. Strato processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. Strato has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Strato is bound by confidentiality under the agreement.

Email and mailing lists

MailChimp

Our website uses MailChimp, a third party that handles the email traffic originating from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via MailChimp’s servers. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email automatically sent via our website, you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. This may seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is securely stored by MailChimp. We use the services of strato for our regular business email communication. Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing

We use your data solely for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time - other than at your request - we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data is not shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality based on the agreement between them and us or by oath or legal obligation.

Automatically collected data

Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example, your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

In certain cases, Inwealth BV may be required by law to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such cases, we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities the law offers us.

Retention periods

We keep your data as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will

also to be understood as a deletion request. This also means that we do not keep your data longer than two years from the last contact or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for doing so. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the applicable period lasts. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have created following your assignment.

Below we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send copies and duplicates of your data to the email address already known to us. All copies and duplicates of data will be provided in the machine-readable data format used within our systems.
