For Apple CarPlay: To use the 2 Siltcon 2-in-1 CarPlay & Android Auto Dongle, your car must have a built-in Apple CarPlay system with support for wired CarPlay. This applies to most vehicles from 2017 onwards (approximately 98%). The dongle is only compatible with iPhones running at least iOS 10. For Android Auto: The Siltcon 2-in-1 CarPlay & Android Auto Dongle only works with vehicles equipped with a built-in Android Auto system that supports wired Android Auto. This is the case for most cars from 2017 onwards (approximately 98%). The dongle only works with Android phones running at least Android 11.
